About Diane

I am Diane Tolentino, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I started my career working in substance use and dual diagnosis, and what that training gave me was a deep respect for how complex human behavior really is, and how rarely any one thing is the whole story. That curiosity guides my practice, particularly when working with adults on identity, relationships, and family dynamics.

I have a particular sensitivity to the experiences that often go unnamed in Asian-American families: the weight of obligation, the tension between individual needs and family loyalty, and the quiet exhaustion of always being the one who holds it together. These are not peripheral issues. They are often the heart of the work.

Fees
$150 Per 50-minute individual session

I am a private pay therapist and do not accept insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available — you are welcome to ask about availability when you reach out.

Using Your Insurance Benefits

Although I do not bill insurance directly, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. I provide a superbill after each session — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many clients are surprised by how much their plan covers. I recommend calling your provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before we begin.
